Actor Fred Hechinger, who recently played a memorable role in HBO’s White Lotus film, reportedly joined the cast of Marvel’s Kraven the Hunter as the screen-obsessed teenager turned drifting enthusiast. Deadline cites unconfirmed reports from unnamed sources suggesting Hechinger will play the chameleon.
As the character’s name suggests, Chameleon is known in the Marvel Universe as a master of disguise. If the casting announcement turns out to be true, Hechinger, who spends most of his time on the Nintendo Switch, could be a surprising and interesting choice. The overall ensemble is in good shape, with Russell Crowe and Aaron Taylor-Johnson being the first names announced so far.
The film, called Kraven the Hunter, is currently scheduled to hit theaters on January 13, 2023.
