Steam Leak Reveals Potential Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection PC Release Date
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection bundles Uncharted 4 with The Lost Legacy, and its release date may have been leaked. SteamDB creator Pavel Djundik retweeted a discovery An API from Steam suggests that Uncharted may make its Steam debut on July 15th.
Apparently, this is the date assigned to the Rogue Legacy series by the Steam backend. According to Djundik, Valve requires developers to include planned release dates in games so they receive store pages, and those timestamps are visible in Steam’s API, even for unreleased games, Djundik said.
That date may be a placeholder, so don’t book anything that hasn’t been played until Sony has released the official release date for the Rogue Legacy series. This will mark the debut of the Uncharted series on PC.
Officially, the Rogue Legacy Collection will be released on PC later in 2022. It was released on PS5 in January to positive reviews.
Sony hasn’t detailed PC-specific features and upgrades, as well as system requirements, but that information should come to light in due course. On PS5, Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy benefit from improved visuals and frame rates. Legacy of Thieves Collection will be just Sony’s latest big PC release after Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and God of War.
A brand new entry in the main Uncharted series has not been announced. Recently, however, Naughty Dog’s developers said they had a “never say never” attitude toward making Uncharted 5.
