The creators of Stardew Valley are working on another new game besides Haunted Chocolatier

Haunted Chocolatier is the next game from Stardew Valley creator Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone, but apparently it’s not the only game he’s working on. Haunted Chocolatier is another solo work by Barone, like Stardew Valley, but it seems he’s also working with the team on an unnamed second project.
Barone told Game Informer that he’s working on a collaborative project that will allow him to “get the best of both worlds,” either developing the game on his own or as part of a larger team. Haunted Chocolatier “is another completely single-player game, kind of like Stardew Valley, where I can do almost anything. That one might come out first.”
Sadly, Barone didn’t provide any details about what the mystery game would be, but he did point out that he’s “not trying to make the next big indie game,” though he has to keep in mind the pressure to keep up with the big game as Stardew Cereal language. “I was almost thinking — it might be fun to release the game under an alias. People don’t even know it’s me, and then see if it can actually be successful on its own merits. But I think it’s a bit hypocritical; I wouldn’t be like that made.”
At least we got some new screenshots of haunted chocolate a few weeks ago as a kind of New Year’s gift.
