The only Wheel of Time game remastered on GOG

Nightdive and GOG have released a remaster of the only major The Wheel of Time game ever made. It’s an OG Unreal Engine-powered RPG and FPS game from the team behind Unreal II: The Awakening, and it’s finally being re-released as part of GOG’s “Good Old Games” revival.
Despite being a beloved license — recently getting a TV show on Amazon Prime — Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time saga has never really made its mark on video games — save for its recent crossover with New Worlds. Now, a major Wheel of Time game once made is available as an exclusive remake on GOG.com for $9.99/£6.99.
Set 150 years before the books or Amazon TV shows, the fantasy game is basically a magic-based FPS with a few RPG elements – somewhat similar to Shame developer Arkane’s earlier game Dark Messiah, or a more direct FPS, Such as Hexen or Amid Evil. Familiar locations such as the crumbling city of Shadar Logoth, the Misty Mountains and the White Pagoda feature.
This is part of GOG’s return to the “Good Old Games” name, with the store stating “Our goal is to make GOG the best place to play classic PC games again”. As part of this program, it flagged over 500 games.
