The Sims 4 developers are teasing a pro [redacted] Announcements, which could mean anything from kits to new expansion packs. But given the excitement the folks at Maxis have expressed, this seems like a pretty big announcement — and given the very negative reaction to the very wrong Wedding DLC, the game might need something big right now.

Earlier this year, we received a Sims 4 roadmap listing updates for Q1 2022, but that roadmap ran out at the end of March. It’s been almost a year since the last major expansion pack, Cottage Living, and the developers have been releasing expansions on a twice-yearly cadence since 2018.
Currently, a major overhaul of the My Wedding Story DLC is underway, and the developers have just implemented a major community story update.
