The Sims 4’s Buggy Wedding DLC is being fixed
The Sims 4’s highly anticipated My Wedding Story DLC launched in February, and the community’s response has been rather negative. (Check out the Steam reviews.) The new wedding feature is full of bugs, making it difficult for players to get their Sims married — let alone throw a fancy party for the occasion. Today, the developers listed a number of fixes they plan to implement for the DLC.
“You can look forward to two separate patch updates in the coming weeks,” the developer said in the announcement. The first will be a standard update, while the second will focus on “We know you’re in The Sims 4: Technical Issues Encountered in My Wedding Story”.
The update will include more than just what’s listed, but there’s already a lot of it. Guests will now show up in their pre-determined outfits, and they’ll get together appropriately for dessert. Cake models will no longer malfunction. There are “adjustments” for walking down the aisle and “improvements” for pas de deux.
There’s no specific release window for this patch after “the next few weeks,” but that’s what you can expect.
