Ogres’ appetites may be unmatched, but don’t underestimate the fighting prowess of these beasts among Warhammer’s many factions. What the ogre tribes of Total War: Warhammer 3 know all too well is that there is nothing greater in life than good food. Luckily for them, there is an abundance of people and beasts of every taste and texture around the world to devour and savor.
Appetite is a powerful thing that has led many gluttonous ogres down countless journeys from the Mountains of Mourning to quench their ravenous hunger. You’ll often find them practicing mercenaries, trading their muscles for gold and grubs, cannibals are the most mundane and versatile warriors of their kind.
Many ogres are under the command of the tyrant Greasus Goldtooth, or Tradelord Greasus Tribestealer Drakecrush Gatecrasher Hoardmaster Goldtooth the Shockingly Obese by his full name. He’s without a doubt the most powerful and fattest ogre in the world, but these hulking Hulks also worship a higher power: Big Mouth.
Ogres owe their insatiable appetite to their giant mouths, and will often make sacrifices for the now dormant pits of sharp teeth. That’s, of course, when they’re not busy eating.
Given the symbolic and practical importance of teeth in ogre life, you will often find them adorning the buildings and offal plates of many ogre tribesmen. Don’t look too close, however, or your own bite might join them. You can pre-order Total War: Warhammer 3 here.
