Ubisoft confirms Ghost Recon breakpoint is dead
Ghost Recon Breakpoint Dead Less than Three Years After Release? Here’s what it looks like, as Ubisoft has effectively confirmed the end of breakpoint support, saying it has released “the last piece of content” for the online co-op game.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s release date is October 2019, and multiplayer isn’t particularly popular. PCGamesN’s review of Breakpoint called it “a messy game that tripped itself up by implementing various types of mechanics, but never reached its full potential” — and other reviewers were equally ruthless.
Operation Homeland, a proper new single-player campaign, was released in November 2021. Aside from the Ubisoft Quartz NFT crap, that was the last update Breakpoint received – now, Ubisoft Confirm on twitter No more content is being produced. The publisher will “continue to maintain” the servers for Breakpoint and Wildlands, but now it looks like the latest Ghost Recon game is effectively dead.

Ghost Recon Frontline is the next entry in the series, and it’s a battle royale game. Ubisoft tested it earlier this year, but has yet to announce a release date.
