The best and brightest in the gaming industry will meet next month at London’s Tobacco Docks for WASD, a new game show that will showcase a plethora of new games and their creators, from promising indie to exciting 3A. The festival will feature exhibitions and presentations from Sega, Devolver Digital, Team17 and more, and event tickets are still available.

Scheduled for April 7-9, WASD is designed to give players and game creators the opportunity to meet in a relaxed atmosphere where indie game developers, AAA publishers and fans are treated as equals, as Roucan founder David Lilley explained in our interview.

It’s also a great opportunity for anyone looking to pursue a career in gaming to get some great guidance from people in the industry. WASD will feature panel discussions and presentations from game developers, marketing experts and even some of our own journalists, all providing guidance on early career steps and how to break into the gaming world with a career.

If you’re more interested in playing cool new games, the WASD Curios series is part of a show you can’t miss. 13 developers will offer special projects for viewers to try for themselves, you can read more about these projects in our rundown.
