What’s New on Disney Plus in April 2022: Moon Knight, Herbie: Homecoming

Like the rest of 2022, March is moving fast and April is almost here. Disney+ is doing everything it can to make the future worth looking forward to. Disney+ has announced a full complement of movies, shows and other original content for next month — here’s what you can expect to watch on the streaming service in March.
The main attraction for the month ahead is the Moon Knight series. The MCU miniseries adaptation spans six episodes, starting March 30 and running through May 4. That means every Wednesday in April, you can count on Oscar Isaac’s new episode as Max Spector, a man living with dissociative identity disorder and suddenly finding himself with the power of an Egyptian god.
Note that Disney+’s April offerings lean more toward family-friendly content, which is great news for families who want to watch together, but also means that there isn’t a lot going on in the Marvel or Star Wars franchises. Moon Knight aside, on April 1st, Herbie: Homecoming is definitely worth your time. 2005 was arguably the best Herbie movie ever, and the cast — including Lindsay Lohan, Justin Long, and Michael Keaton — sure made it a fun nostalgic watch. The cast is written by the impressive writing team of Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Gallant (Renault 911!, Country) and Alfred Goff and Miles Miller (Smallville).
