Fortnite brings Coachella music festival to your home
Fortnite is back again with another new musical crossover, but this time it’s an entire festival. That’s right, Fortnite will bring the majesty of Coachella to the game with some new skins and a bunch of music. It’s the perfect atmosphere for a music festival, it’s always as important as the sound.
Music will be played in-game via Icon Radio, and there will be songs from over 30 different artists for you to listen to. Granted, if you’re only playing Battle Royale mode, you probably won’t hear a lot of it, but it’s always nice to have some new music to feel.
Skin is the star of the show here, though. Wilder and Lyric apparel will be available from the 14th. Each of them has its own collection of accessories as well as other styles. Then on the 21st, Alto and Poet, along with their accessories, will also be in store.
The cool thing about all of these items is that they react to in-game music. This means you’ll see your costume dance your way to whatever music you come across. It’s a great touch that adds a little extra flair to all these skins and items, and is sure to keep them trending for some time to come.
It will be interesting to see if these skins can make their mark along with the other skins from Chapter 3 Season 2. We’ve got a lot of cool options so far, but it’s always good to have a few more. Aside from looking good, you should definitely check out this tower defense map when you get the chance.
